Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and build high-quality, scalable frontend features utilizing modern frameworks such as React and TypeScript.

• Create and uphold reusable UI components, shared libraries, and patterns that enhance consistency and boost developer productivity.

• Collaborate extensively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into intuitive and high-performance user interfaces.

• Contribute to the frontend architecture by making informed decisions regarding state management, API integration, performance optimization, and code organization.

• Enhance application performance and reliability by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing rendering processes, and ensuring responsive and accessible user experiences.

• Review code and offer technical feedback that elevates quality standards and fosters team-wide learning.

• Advocate for best practices in testing, documentation, and CI/CD workflows to maintain a scalable and manageable codebase.

• Actively participate in planning and estimation, providing accurate technical insights and identifying potential risks early.

• Champion user experience, ensuring that UI decisions are aligned with customer needs and usability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in modern frontend development (React, Vue, Angular, or similar), with a minimum of two years specifically in React.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs.

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases, and networking essentials.

• Must possess React experience, including component design patterns, state management frameworks, component libraries, React lifecycle, hooks, and UI performance tuning.

• Familiarity with build systems (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Turborepo), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress), and CI/CD workflows.

• Thorough understanding of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design methodologies.

• Extensive experience with authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, JWT, SSO).

• Ability to design modular and scalable frontend architectures.
