This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable frontend applications utilizing Vue 3, TypeScript, and contemporary JavaScript tools.
• Take ownership of intricate frontend features from the technical design phase to production release.
• Work closely with product and design teams to convert requirements into exceptional user experiences.
• Create reusable components, design patterns, and frontend architectures that enhance developer productivity.
• Enhance application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API design, data contracts, error management, and integration strategies.
• Produce high-quality tests utilizing tools like Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, or similar.
• Engage in code reviews and deliver thoughtful, constructive feedback.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to establishing frontend best practices within the team.
• Assess and incorporate modern frontend technologies that demonstrate clear business or engineering advantages.
• Contribute to improvements in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and frontend release quality.
• Help uphold stringent standards concerning security, privacy, and the safe handling of user data.
• 5+ years of experience in creating rich, complex, and evolving front-end user experiences.
• Demonstrated history of practical and thoughtful problem-solving.
• Extensive professional experience in building production web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Vue.js, ideally Vue 3 and the Composition API.
• Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tools such as Vite, ESBuild, pnpm/npm/yarn, and contemporary build pipelines.
• Experience with state management patterns and libraries like Pinia, Vuex, or equivalents.
• Solid understanding of component architecture, design systems, and reusable UI patterns.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs.
• Strong background in testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and semantic HTML.
• Experience in agile development settings with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs effectively.
• Proven capability to lead technical initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Experience in building applications and working with systems that operate within fully containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Active participation in the open-source and New York tech community is a plus.
• An interest in the cannabis sector and/or the LeafLink brand is preferred.
