Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of the JTX client for both web and mobile platforms.

• Deliver real-time trading interfaces, including order books, charts, order entry, positions, and execution visibility.

• Achieve strict latency and rendering targets against streaming market data, determining the appropriate allocation between client and server.

• Create wallet and signing processes, encompassing self-custodial and embedded wallet onboarding.

• Oversee the shared components, state, and data layers that the product team will utilize.

• Make architectural decisions that will sustain growth as the codebase, team, and user base expand significantly.

• Launch quickly, monitor real user interactions, and iterate based on feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing production frontend applications, particularly those that are real-time, data-intensive, or financial in nature.

• Proficient in React and TypeScript, with the ability to articulate and resolve component re-rendering issues.

• Experience in mobile development with React Native, Expo, or native iOS and Android.

• Strong foundational knowledge of browser performance, memory management, websockets, and network behavior under load.

• Security-oriented mindset regarding signing processes, key management, and what should never be logged.

• Comfortable working within an existing live codebase, capable of refactoring and optimizing without halting deployment.

• Ability to assess business and engineering trade-offs and convey complex concepts in a simple manner.
