Senior Frontend Engineer – Angular, UX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• __**Duties and Responsibilities:**__

• Design and uphold scalable frontend applications utilizing Angular version 14+

• Implement sophisticated state management techniques (RxJS, NgRx), along with smart/dumb component separation and performance enhancements

• Engage with modular architecture, routing (lazy loading), guards, and resolvers

• Create and sustain custom user interfaces using SCSS (without Angular Material or design libraries)

• Enhance existing UI or introduce new features in accordance with the product's design system

• Transform product requirements into clean, user-friendly, and visually cohesive interfaces

• Maintain meticulous attention to UI/UX details (layout, spacing, responsiveness, interaction quality)

• Collaborate closely with backend and product teams

⛳️ Requirements

• __**Must-have Skills / Qualification:**__

• A minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in frontend development

• Advanced expertise in Angular version 14 and above

• At least 3 years of experience with RxJS and NgRx

• Familiarity with Smart/Dumb component separation, OnPush change detection, and standalone components

• Proficient in module separation, lazy loading, routing, guards, and resolvers

• Advanced SCSS and CSS capabilities (custom mixins, without reliance on Material, Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)

• Strong design sensibility, UI consistency, and frontend craftsmanship

• Ability to seamlessly extend features within an existing UI/UX framework

• Extensive experience in creating custom-styled interfaces (not reliant on libraries)

• Confidence in handling complex layouts, animations, and responsive behaviors

• High attention to detail (spacing, alignment, transitions, usability)

• Capability to make independent, sound UI/UX decisions

• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in interacting with international colleagues

• A strong sense of ownership, dependability, professional integrity, curiosity, and ambition

• __**Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:**__

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proficiency in C# .NET 10+ for backend development

• Experience in frontend unit testing with Jasmine and end-to-end testing with Cypress

• Experience in backend unit and integration testing using XUnit

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture (DDD), MediatR, CQRS, Entity Framework

• Experience in creating mockups using Figma or similar tools and collaborating on design systems
