Senior Frontend Engineer – AI SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Frontend Engineer at Landbot, you will be instrumental in defining user interactions with our product.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code, prioritizing simplicity and quality.

• Work in close collaboration with Product and Design teams to provide outstanding user experiences.

• Serve as a primary expert in testing, fostering a quality-first approach throughout the frontend.

• Develop reusable UI components and design systems suitable for various contexts: web applications, browser extensions, desktop, and mobile.

• Offer technical leadership during design discussions and decisions that influence multiple teams or the organization as a whole.

• Make informed trade-offs between immediate delivery requirements and long-term technical sustainability.

• Thoroughly document your work (including ADRs, RFCs, and postmortems) and disseminate insights throughout the organization.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and introduce innovative, practical concepts to the team.

• Lead by example: mentor colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and elevate engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, Redux, and contemporary frontend ecosystems.

• Extensive experience with testing across all levels: unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end (E2E).

• Proven track record in building and maintaining intricate UIs utilizing reusable components and/or micro-frontends.

• Solid software engineering principles and the capability to simplify complex issues.

• Experience with frequent production deployments (we deploy multiple times a day).

• Familiarity with performance optimization and scaling frontend applications.

• Enthusiasm for feedback, continuous learning, and mentoring others to enhance engineering quality.

• Strong collaborative attitude, appreciating the value of product, design, and cross-team partnerships.

• (Bonus) Experience with AI-driven interfaces or interest in designing UX for AI-enhanced features.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish.

• Eligibility to work in Spain is required, and we are open to collaboration agreements.
