This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop solutions aimed at enhancing the global support agent experience.
• Define the technical vision while delivering flexible, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to implement product and business strategies.
• Lead and participate in the complete development lifecycle, which includes technical design, development, test automation, experimentation, analysis, and deployment.
• Evaluate code and design documentation, offering feedback on product specifications and mockups.
• Create efficient, reusable frontend web components while ensuring performance and scalability.
• Design and implement server-side APIs to support frontend needs.
• Work in partnership with Machine Learning and Generative AI Engineers to enhance Community Support systems.
• Contribute to technical direction through discussions on engineering design.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Over 6 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in architecting frontend systems and managing end-to-end features along with cross-team integrations.
• Experience in developing large web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and tools, such as React and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Strong skills in accessibility, performance optimization, and client practices that follow paved-path principles.
• Possess a product-oriented mindset and exceptional communication skills; capable of facilitating cross-organization integration with partner teams.
• Experience in developing UI for AI-driven features, including classical supervised machine learning and Generative AI.
• Skilled in one or more backend server languages, including Java/Kotlin.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. is registered.
