Senior Frontend Developer – Remote, Chile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

• Providing engineering solutions throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, which includes requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing, built on a robust agile methodology.

• Showcasing practical technical skills across various programming languages.

• Collaborating effectively with client engagement teams that possess diverse skills and backgrounds, nurturing an innovative and inclusive workplace culture.

• Exhibiting an understanding of the current technology landscape and industry trends, while offering insights and recommendations for engagement and client service challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Must be a resident of Chile.

• At least 5 years of experience in technology software development.

• Proficient in using languages, libraries, and frameworks that support large, complex web applications, including but not limited to Html5, css3, sass (ooCSS, BEM), bootstrap 3, Material Design for Angular JS (ES5, ES2015, ES7), Angular 12+, Redux (NgRx), design patterns such as “Containers & Components”, Singleton Services, Factory, (RxJS), Node 8 or higher, and express 4, as well as local storage.

• Experience in consuming RESTful APIs and JSON data within web applications, and familiarity with REST API tools like Postman or equivalents.

• Knowledge of web security practices and experience working with OWASP security considerations and techniques.

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, NextJS, Angular 12+, Node.js, Electron, React Native, or Vue.js.

• Experience using contemporary collaborative development and code management tools, including Git (BitBucket, GitHub, or similar), along with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Sonar, Mock, Test Case, TeamCity, or similar).

• Skills in developing, packaging, testing, debugging, and deploying responsive web applications.

• Background in working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, along with knowledge of Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development methodologies (Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, Angular CLI, Jest).

• Comfortable operating in an Agile and TDD environment.

• Proficiency in English.
