Senior Frontend Developer – Newbuilds

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

• Development and upkeep of features for two React applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in React — including function components, hooks, Context, performance optimization, and code splitting.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript — encompassing strict typing, generics, utility types, and type narrowing.

• Comprehensive understanding of browser APIs, rendering processes, and debugging techniques.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL — including queries, mutations, subscriptions, and caching strategies.

• Experience with server state management tools (such as React Query or similar).

• Capability to select and integrate state management strategies for various challenges.

• Skill in designing and sustaining scalable component architectures.

• Background in publishing or maintaining shared component libraries or design systems.

• Strong culture of testing — including unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing, using React Testing Library and Playwright.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines — not only using them but also enhancing their functionality.

• Proficient in code reviews — able to establish standards, identify issues, and provide mentorship through the review process.

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or a similar utility-first framework.

• Knowledge of modern bundlers like Vite, Parcel, or Webpack.

• Proficiency in ESLint and Prettier — configuring and enforcing standards rather than merely adhering to them.

• Strong Git skills — maintaining a clean history, utilizing conventional commits, and being comfortable with rebasing and submodules.

• Experience in deploying multi-language applications (utilizing LinguiJS, supporting 5 or more languages).
