Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and execution of scalable, modular, and reusable web UI components and micro frontends.

• Offer technical leadership and engage in hands-on development utilizing React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Web Components.

• Promote front-end development best practices, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Implement and manage client-side routing utilizing React Router.

• Spearhead performance optimization efforts for creating fast, responsive, and accessible web applications.

• Utilize Azure for application deployment, monitoring, scalability, and operational support.

• Design, implement, and sustain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

• Ensure adherence to code quality and security standards through tools like SonarQube and Mend.

• Establish and uphold development standards, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices across various teams.

• Assist in requirements analysis, solution design, estimation, and technical planning.

• Manage interactions with stakeholders and clients, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment of solutions with business objectives.

• Mentor and coach developers to encourage technical growth and continuous improvement.

• Assess emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance product quality and development efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Web UI Lead or Senior Frontend Developer, promoting technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle.

• Extensive expertise in React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Web Components.

• Strong proficiency with Redux and React Query.

• Practical experience with Azure and GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with SonarQube and Mend for ensuring code quality and security.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and emphasis on agile delivery.

• Profound understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

• Availability to work hours aligned with the EST time zone.

• Knowledge of cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is preferred.

• Capability to lead UI developers, coordinate sprint activities, deliverables, and technical reviews is preferred.

• Ability to drive technical decision-making and navigate complex implementation challenges is preferred.

• Skill in facilitating collaboration across multiple teams and ensuring consistent delivery standards is preferred.

• Ability to serve as the primary technical point of contact for UI-related client and stakeholder discussions is preferred.
