Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold scalable LSGs and UI patterns.

• Serve as the supervisor for AI agents.

• Create and enhance the system prompts used for generating OutSystems logic and UI.

• Tackle challenging front-end bugs that seem insurmountable.

• Conduct workshops on Front-End best practices and ensure adherence to Accessibility (WCAG) standards.

• Assist customer teams in transitioning from manual "pixel-pushing" to adopting an "Orchestrator" mindset.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality applications on the OutSystems platform (OutSystems UI & Mobile UI).

• Proficient in optimizing applications for speed and enhancing search engine visibility.

• Experience in implementing and a strong dedication to accessibility (WCAG) while creating tools that serve everyone.

• Proficiency in AI code: Capable of reading, debugging, and optimizing code produced by LLMs.

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering: Experienced in structuring multi-step prompts to achieve precise, high-quality technical results.

• Systemic thinker: Focuses on resolving not just the bug but also the prompt or pattern to prevent future occurrences.

• Fluent in English (required), capable of explaining technical concepts to a diverse range of audiences.

• Effective in collaborating across various cultures and geographies within an agile framework.

• Proactive in mentoring other developers and contributing to the advancement of the Front-End practice.

• Exemplifies leadership, strong analytical thinking, and prioritizes user-centric design.

• Over 5 years of experience in OutSystems and a background in enterprise software development.

• Certifications: OutSystems Expert Developer; Specialist Agentic AI certification preferred, Front-end Developer Specialist.
