Senior Front End Software Engineer – Vault

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate to deconstruct and implement innovative features.

• Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Take ownership of work and partner with QA to ensure comprehensive application testing and complete test coverage.

• Establish best practices and advocate for performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.

• Identify technical debt and work with the team to mitigate it.

• Guide and support decisions regarding new frameworks and technical direction.

• Review pull requests and offer constructive feedback to foster the growth of team members.

• Engage with the Bitwarden open-source community to review contributions and resolve GitHub issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for front-end development.

• Strong technical writing abilities and the capability to clearly communicate complex issues.

• Knowledge of relational database design and optimization.

• Experience with SQL Server is a notable advantage.

• Familiarity with Rust for cross-platform SDK development is a strong plus.

• A collaborative and adaptable mindset.

• Openness and authenticity paired with exceptional communication abilities.

• Passion for open source and internet security.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Nice-to-have: Experience as a Bitwarden user.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in a startup environment.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with open source projects.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Node.js and Electron.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Claude Code or similar generative AI coding platforms.

• Must be located in the U.S.
