Senior Front End, Mobile Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

• Slash is seeking a talented Mobile Developer to create robust enterprise-grade mobile applications for our clients.

• If you envision elegant, smooth interfaces and engaging applications while excelling in mobile user interaction paradigms, and you are proficient in ReactNative, this opportunity is for you!

• You will play a pivotal role in the company by leading mobile development best practices, processes, and standards across the organization.

• Collaborate with solution architects, scrum masters, and development teams to deliver React Native, iOS, and Android mobile products to our clients.

• We will depend on your technical expertise and creativity to remain current with the latest trends in mobile development (e.g., Native, Flutter, ReactNative, Performance, etc).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with ReactNative.

• Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language such as Dart, JavaScript (ReactJS) for ReactNative, Java/Kotlin, or ObjC/Swift.

• Familiarity with the build and deployment processes for iOS and Android applications.

• Knowledgeable about design best practices for Android, iOS, and cross-platform applications.

• Experienced in integrating plugins/modules from Android, iOS, and cross-platform frameworks.

• Solid understanding of backend API integration (via RESTful, JSON, XML) to create dynamic and sophisticated user interfaces.

• Understanding of GraphQL integration with the frontend is advantageous.

• Proficiency in backend development and agile methodologies is a plus!

• Familiarity with automated build and deployment processes using Fastlane or CI/CD platforms such as CodeMagic, Circle CI, or GitHub Actions is a significant advantage.

• A good grasp of connecting to third-party API platforms such as payment gateways, mail services, and SMS platforms is a plus.

• Experience in monorepo development (e.g., NX) is certainly a plus.

• Backend development experience (e.g., Java Spring Boot or NodeJS) is a definite advantage.

• Advanced knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks like Jest (Unit/Integration Test) is essential; experience with Detox (E2E) is a plus.

• A keen interest in learning about other technologies (such as NodeJS API development, Python, Serverless, CI/CD DevOps, etc.) is beneficial.

• Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) and automated testing is advantageous.

• A positive attitude, independence, and a strong drive for success are essential qualities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to communicate effectively with international clients.

• A proactive, confident individual who embraces responsibility and takes full ownership.

• Exceptional analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, coding, and problem-solving skills.

• Interest in working on diverse global corporate and startup projects across various industries within an agency setting.

• Capability to understand different business models and applications is a bonus.

• Experience in client interactions and working in a product or software agency is a plus.

• Ability to coordinate and communicate with diverse teams and individuals (e.g., solution architects, product managers, scrum masters, developers, customer service, clients).

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
