Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create product increments by collaborating closely with your Product Manager and Squad Lead to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

• Challenge both product and technical features, ensuring the team focuses on the right priorities at the appropriate times.

• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end features along with the Design System.

• Review team contributions with an emphasis on feature quality and maintainability.

• Engage in the team's support responsibilities, including reporting and fixing bugs.

• Enhance the test suite, ranging from unit tests to end-to-end tests.

• Document decisions and relevant technical information through Decision Records.

• Monitor our development cycle and raise issues as necessary.

• Advocate for AI-assisted engineering, from code generation and testing to debugging.

• Set guidelines for the safe and effective use of AI, including human review, bias detection, and security measures.

• Discover opportunities to utilize AI internally to improve developer productivity, monitoring, and anomaly detection.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a strong background in developing frontend applications using contemporary frameworks.

• Proficient in React.js or any modern framework, with a clear understanding of REST/JSON APIs; possess strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• You have a strong preference for strongly typed languages, particularly Typescript.

• You also have knowledge of backend technologies and a desire to apply it.

• Capable of writing efficient and meaningful code reviews and open to rigorous challenges.

• Previous experience with a design system is essential.

• You appreciate elegant yet practical code, as pragmatism is highly valued at Phantom Buster.

• You enjoy challenges and are a collaborative team member.

• You demonstrate good coding practices, including Git, Testing, Documentation, and CI/CD.

• You are proficient in written and spoken English.

• You currently reside in the EU.
