Senior Front-end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the front-end architecture for a high-throughput, real-time trading application.

• Design, develop, and sustain production-grade applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Create pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive UI systems while adhering to strict performance criteria.

• Oversee the development of complex features from initial technical design through to production deployment.

• Enhance rendering paths, state management, data flow, and bundle size to ensure sub-second interactions.

• Integrate extensively with REST and WebSocket APIs that support live market data and execution processes.

• Work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to refine advanced trading workflows.

• Establish and maintain engineering standards regarding code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.

• Mentor fellow engineers and elevate the standards for front-end execution within the team.

• Contribute across the stack when necessary (API design, data models, infrastructure trade-offs).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in front-end engineering, demonstrating clear ownership of complex production systems.

• Mastery of React, Next.js, and TypeScript in high-performance environments.

• In-depth knowledge of front-end architecture, rendering behavior, and performance optimization strategies.

• Proven track record with real-time data systems (WebSockets, streaming updates, event-driven UI).

• Strong intuition regarding state management, data consistency, and UI correctness under heavy load.

• Comfortable discussing backend systems (Node.js, databases, cloud infrastructure); hands-on experience is advantageous.

• History of shipping and maintaining features that operate effectively at scale.

• Capability to make impactful technical decisions independently.
