Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications utilizing JavaScript (ES6+) and React.

• Architect and execute advanced Server-Side Rendering (SSR) solutions using frameworks such as Next.js or custom Node.js rendering pipelines.

• Collaborate with various template engines (e.g., Pug, EJS, Handlebars, JSX-based rendering) based on client specifications.

• Create reusable, maintainable, and high-performance UI component libraries.

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js as necessary.

• Enhance rendering performance in both client-side and server-side environments.

• Ensure SEO optimization and adherence to performance best practices in SSR-based applications.

• Work alongside architects, backend teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to establish technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Engage in architectural decisions and the planning of technical roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in front-end development.

• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).

• Advanced proficiency with React.js and the modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, advanced state management).

• Strong practical experience with Node.js in full-stack or SSR environments.

• In-depth understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), hydration, caching strategies, and the rendering lifecycle.

• Proven track record working with various template engines and server-side rendering frameworks.

• Strong comprehension of REST APIs and their integration with backend services.

• Experience in optimizing performance for large-scale web applications.

• Extensive background with Next.js or similar SSR frameworks.

• Familiarity with TypeScript in large-scale applications.

• Knowledge of modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration in DevOps.

• Strong grasp of SEO strategies in SSR applications.

• Experience in enterprise or multi-client delivery environments.

• Background in mentoring teams and spearheading technical initiatives.
