• Create responsive web applications utilizing React, HTML, CSS, and contemporary front-end frameworks.
• Incorporate AI-driven functionalities as outlined by design and data science teams.
• Work alongside UX designers to apply design systems and adhere to accessibility standards (Section 508).
• Engage in iterative development and continuous integration within CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose, enhance, and sustain front-end applications for optimal performance and scalability.
• Maintain documentation for code, components, and implementations to support HUD governance and AI inventory updates.
• A minimum of 7 years of front-end development experience with React.js, HTML, and CSS is essential.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript is required.
• Familiarity with component-based design, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards, including USWDS, Section 508 compliance, and WCAG AA standards is necessary.
• Experience with testing frameworks and quality gates (Jest/RTL, Cypress), performance metrics (Web Vitals), and security measures (OWASP, CSP) is required.
• Knowledge of micro frontend patterns and shared component libraries/Storybook is essential.
• Experience in state/data management (Redux/RTK Query, GraphQL), along with integration with REST/GraphQL and ICAM/login.gov is necessary.
• Proven experience in developing role-based, auditable UIs for adjudication, configuration, explanations, and fairness/quality dashboards within FedRAMP constrained CI/CD is essential.
• Background in implementing AI-enhanced interfaces or working with data-driven applications is desirable.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is beneficial.
• Prior experience in regulated/federal government environments is an advantage.
• Previous support experience for HUD OCIO is preferred.
• Capability to pass the required Federal background screening and secure and maintain government clearance and customer approval is necessary.
