Senior Front-End Developer, React, JS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, gather and refine requirements, and facilitate smooth execution.

• Oversee the design and implementation of a robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend architecture utilizing React.

• Assess various technical strategies, discuss trade-offs, and recommend the best frontend solutions for complex problems.

• Lead the development and enhancement of UI components, services integration, and optimization of frontend performance.

• Work together with product managers and technical specialists to define, develop, and successfully launch new features that improve user experience and add business value.

• Maintain high standards of code quality through best practices, code reviews, testing, and thorough documentation.

• Spot opportunities for process improvements and contribute to boosting team productivity and system efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in developing front-end applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Strong expertise in React, with a solid proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience with GraphQL and the consumption and design of RESTful APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern web development technologies and workflows, from backend databases to user-facing interfaces.

• Ability to work within existing codebases to implement incremental improvements aligned with product priorities.

• Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally across multiple stakeholder groups to advance product initiatives.

• A strong user focus and understanding of user interactions with our products.

• Experience in fast-paced, dynamic product environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Nice to have: Experience in backend development (Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq).

• Familiarity with WebGL and libraries such as three.js.

• Experience in developing and executing A/B tests at scale.

• Background in a high-growth technology startup.
