This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of SystemVerilog / UVM verification environments for FPGA designs.

• Develop and enhance testbenches, agents, scoreboards, monitors, and sequences.

• Establish verification strategies, test plans, and coverage objectives.

• Ensure closure of functional, code, and assertion coverage.

• Facilitate both simulation and emulation workflows (Veloce or similar).

• Evaluate and enhance current verification environments and processes.

• Mentor engineers on UVM best practices and troubleshoot complex issues.

• Assist with DO-254 verification activities (requirements traceability, test evidence, audits).

• Collaborate closely with design, systems, and program teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in FPGA or ASIC verification.

• Solid hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Proficient in building UVM testbenches and reusable verification environments.

• Background in simulation, debugging, and coverage-driven verification.

• Familiarity with tools such as QuestaSim, VCS, or similar.

• Understanding of hardware interfaces and RTL design.

• Capability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.

• Experience in constructing UVM verification environments (SystemVerilog), including agents, drivers, monitors, and scoreboards.

• Skill in creating self-checking simulations utilizing predictors and coverage-based testing.

• Basic knowledge of register modeling (UVM RAL) and testing/validating register behavior in simulation.

• Nice to Have: Experience with DO-254 or other safety-critical standards.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with emulation tools (Siemens Veloce, Palladium, etc.).

• Nice to Have: Knowledge of high-speed interfaces or communication protocols.

• Nice to Have: Experience with requirements tools (DOORS) or traceability.

• Nice to Have: Exposure to aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.

• Nice to Have: Proficiency in Python or automation scripting.
