This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee service delivery for Graphite clients and serve as their primary financial advisor.
• Manage a team of financial analysts who provide these services to clients.
• Create financial dashboards that utilize visualization techniques to convey results and narrate a compelling “story.”
• Compile and present detailed monthly financial reports to various clients, encompassing all financial statements, trend analysis, budget versus actual reporting, and key performance indicators.
• Formulate assumption-driven financial models that enable clients to project company performance, evaluate headcount and resource requirements, manage runway, and strategize for fundraising.
• Collaborate closely with client teams to identify critical performance drivers for their businesses.
• Generate comprehensive reports on unit economics and margin analysis.
• Direct annual and quarterly budgeting processes for multiple clients.
• Work in partnership with accounting teams to gain insights into underlying data.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for clients regarding pricing strategies, margin sensitivity, cash burn scenarios, and more.
• Over 10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a solid understanding of GAAP/accrual principles.
• Highly analytical with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Skilled and confident presenter of complex financial metrics and analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Grow, Looker, etc.).
• Expertise in cloud-based accounting, reporting, and FP&A platforms (e.g., QBO, Xero, LiveFlow, Mosaic, Runway, etc.).
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with a virtual team.
• Outstanding analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Acts as a partner to the client team.
• Proficient in delivering polished and professional presentations.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity to develop work products that cater to diverse client industries and operational stages.
