Senior FP&A Analyst, Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic finance collaborator by leading the creation of yearly budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning for essential business units.

• Construct narratives behind financial data by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop precise, driver-based financial models that facilitate informed decision-making.

• Keep projects on track through monthly and quarterly variance analyses that highlight performance against plans, forecasts, and previous years.

• Provide reporting through dashboards and management packages that convert complex data into significant KPIs and actionable insights.

• Impact strategy in real time by working with business leaders on profitability, pricing, and cost-to-serve initiatives that directly influence growth and margins.

• Guide investment decisions through scenario modeling and valuation analysis (NPV, IRR, ROI), along with a variety of ad hoc analyses that align with strategic goals.

• Advocate for more efficient reporting by promoting automation and enhancing the tools that drive our finance operations (Excel, Power BI, D365, OneStream).

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business (MBA/CPA/CFA is an advantage).

• Experience: 4–7 years in FP&A or corporate finance **within a manufacturing/industrial context** (multi-business experience is a plus).

• Technical expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is preferred; familiarity with D365 and OneStream is a bonus.

• Financial skillset: Strong capabilities in budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), and financial modeling.

• Accounting knowledge: Understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with cost accounting concepts (standard cost, PPV, inventory, absorption) is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
