This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee revenue forecasting and planning activities across key revenue elements, such as annual recurring revenue, churn, and expansion.
• Create financial models, reporting, and analysis that aid Corporate FP&A deliverables for finance leadership.
• Propel process enhancements within closing and planning workflows, emphasizing automation, AI-driven analysis, and quicker access to source data.
• Collaborate closely with finance departments like accounting and compensation to fulfill shared planning and reporting requirements.
• Generate clear commentary and insights for leadership reviews, including work that informs discussions with the CFO, board, and audit committee.
• Assess current workflows and pinpoint opportunities to transition from manual file management to more scalable, automated methods.
• Apply sound business judgment to link revenue model outputs to the broader financial and operational landscape.
• Effectively communicate progress, risks, assumptions, and open questions in a dynamic environment with rapid turnaround times.
• Proven experience in corporate financial planning and analysis with responsibility for revenue forecasting, planning, or related financial modeling.
• Understanding of SaaS revenue concepts, including a working knowledge of annual recurring revenue, churn, expansion, and how these factors influence company performance.
• Capability to develop and enhance models while prioritizing accuracy, clarity, and business relevance.
• Experience with automation in finance workflows, combined with a curiosity for applying AI tools like Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies for analysis and process enhancement.
• Ability to differentiate between basic task automation and more sophisticated, scalable methods that enhance work efficiency.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate direct, transparent updates, insightful questions, and effective collaboration with finance partners.
• Comfort in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment that demands resilience, adaptability, and strong follow-through.
