Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the operating expense plan from start to finish, encompassing departmental budgets, software, and consulting expenditures.

• Collaborate with business leaders to assess budget versus actuals and assist in making informed spending decisions.

• Develop models, processes, and planning systems aimed at enhancing forecasting accuracy.

• Leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks and integrate various systems.

• Assist in establishing spend-efficiency metrics for a company focused on AI innovation.

• Deliver insights on operating expenses and headcount for annual planning, reforecasts, as well as leadership and board reporting.

• Report directly to the Director of FP&A and work closely with the FP&A Manager.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product & Engineering, and operational leaders throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or a similar analytical position.

• Proven experience managing an operating expense budget along with a budget vs. actuals process.

• Proficient in Google Sheets with a capability to create clear, structured models from the ground up.

• Strong knowledge of the three financial statements and operating expenses as reflected in the P&L.

• Experience in partnering with budget owners outside of finance.

• Ability to operate independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• An AI-first, builder's mindset along with a passion for automating repetitive tasks.

• Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with NetSuite and Ramp is preferred.

• Experience with Runway, Adaptive, Pigment, or Anaplan is advantageous.

• Background in B2B SaaS or AI companies is a plus.
