This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and uphold data migration scripts for customer identity transitions, multi-tenancy data migrations, and schema modifications.
• Oversee database operations across customer environments, which includes PostgreSQL administration, Dgraph query optimization, schema migrations, data integrity verification, and performance enhancements.
• Set up and validate backend platform services, encompassing Identity Service, Keycloak, AI Chat, and service integrations.
• Create and sustain Python automation tools for repeatable deployment and configuration tasks.
• Integrate platform APIs tailored for customer-specific workflows, such as authentication flows, data exchange endpoints, and service configurations.
• Set up identity provider integrations, including Keycloak, SAML, OIDC, and SSO with PingFederate, Okta, and Azure AD.
• Diagnose application-layer problems involving service configurations, database performance, API connectivity, and authentication issues.
• Assist in agent and module deployment with Solutions Engineers, including configuration validation, backend connectivity, and module integration testing.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams regarding service configuration needs, data migration timelines, and validation processes.
• Maintain migration runbooks, service configuration documentation, and notes on customer environments.
• Provide platform services to defense, aerospace, and commercial clients in regulated, security-sensitive settings.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a technical customer-facing delivery position.
• Proficient in Python development, including production scripts, automation tools, and data processing pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases in production, preferably PostgreSQL, including queries, schema migrations, performance optimization, and backup/restore processes.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, including integration development, connectivity troubleshooting, and comprehension of API documentation.
• Experience with Kubernetes on an operational level, including workload deployment and troubleshooting, log reading, and pod lifecycle understanding.
• Knowledge of identity and authentication systems, such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and LDAP, at a configuration level.
• Experience engaging directly with external customers in a technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across application logs, database queries, and service configurations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Preferred: experience with graph databases like Dgraph or Neo4j.
• Preferred: experience with Keycloak or other open-source identity providers.
• Preferred: experience with AWS services like S3, IAM, KMS, and RDS, or similar Azure experience.
• Preferred: familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes application deployment.
• Preferred: experience in developing production data migration tools with rollback functionalities.
• Preferred: experience with TypeScript/Node.js in addition to Python.
• Preferred: familiarity with compliance or security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, or CMMC.
• Preferred: experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government customers.
• Preferred: experience with CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Preferred: industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or CompTIA Security+.
• Preferred: active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
