Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product Solutions team and business partners throughout Warner Music Group.

• Swiftly create and implement automation and data- and AI-driven solutions.

• Provide solutions that transform tasks that typically take weeks into workflows that can be completed in minutes.

• Engage directly with stakeholders from various labels and global functions.

• Design comprehensive solutions, which include data pipelines and interoperability.

• Develop backend applications using Python.

• Create dashboards and Streamlit applications.

• Utilize Databricks and Snowflake AI tools, such as Genie and Cortex.

• Employ AI tools to conceptualize, build, and launch production solutions.

• Set up system frameworks, operational playbooks, and technical guidelines.

• Contribute reusable modular assets to the internal marketplace.

• Ensure alignment of solutions with the Data and Insights engineering roadmap.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication with customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience in interacting with customers.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience in data pipelining, including ETL processes.

• Familiarity with Snowflake and/or Databricks; expertise in one is adequate.

• Ideally, experience with Genie Code or Cortex Code, Notebooks, and Streamlit.

• Capability to utilize AI tools for designing, building, and deploying production solutions.

• Competence in working across backend, frontend, data pipelines, and AI technologies.

• Ability to quickly grasp problem areas and devise solutions independently of curated requirements.

• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders, ranging from entry-level to executive.

• Awareness of AI tools such as Gemini, Cortex Code, and Genie Code.

• Experience in establishing system frameworks like the Agent Development Kit (ADK).

• Background in developing operational playbooks and technical guidelines.

• Familiarity with modular architectures and reusable assets for the internal marketplace.
