This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models.

• Manage taxonomy, reference models, and metadata standards.

• Oversee Business Architecture content within the VA enterprise architecture repository.

• Ensure data structures are in alignment with enterprise architecture and governance policies.

• Provide support for initiatives proposed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology, Office of the Chief Data and Analytics Officer.

• Occasional travel to Washington, DC is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Tier 1 / Low Risk background investigation.

• Completion of VA privacy and security training is necessary.

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in data architecture or enterprise architecture.

• Familiarity with VA enterprise architecture tools (VEAR/VASI, System Architect) is preferred.

• Development experience in taxonomy and reference models is preferred.

• Experience in business architecture or process modeling is preferred.
