This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the workstreams and components assigned to you, guiding them from design to production within the client's environment.
• Engage in discovery sessions, architecture evaluations, and stakeholder interviews related to your area of involvement; translate ambiguous challenges into well-defined, actionable tasks.
• Make informed build and design choices that align with the client's environment and the constraints of the work you manage, and stand by those decisions.
• Develop the system: production data pipelines, LLM applications, agents, and workflow automations that meet specifications and perform reliably under real-world conditions.
• Actively manage the scope of your workstreams: identify risks and scope creep early, before they escalate into issues.
• Ensure sustainable capability transfer: deliver documented, runnable, and maintainable software that remains effective after your departure.
• Establish trusted relationships with client stakeholders while assisting the Architect or AI Lead in overall account management.
• Share reusable patterns and insights that enhance future project deliveries.
• Over 5 years of engineering or technical delivery experience, including significant exposure in embedded or client-facing roles.
• Proven record of delivery ownership: clear evidence of managing client-facing tasks from initial scoping to production with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following areas: LLM application development, cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), backend systems at scale, or production data engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to independently make technical decisions and ensure the quality of your own deliverables within a client environment.
• Excellent communication skills: technically articulate with engineers, clear and confident when engaging with VP- and C-level executives, and able to adapt the level of detail without compromising accuracy.
• High adaptability to ambiguity; consistently delivers value even when all requirements are not fully defined.
• Competitive base salary with performance-driven bonuses.
• MacBook Pro and a swag kit to enable you to perform at your best.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Generous vacation time, flexible PTO, and a remote-first work culture.
• Professional development funding, including support for Databricks and cloud certifications.
• Spot bonuses for obtaining relevant certifications.
• Opportunities for conference attendance and thought leadership engagement.
• A collaborative, low-ego culture with direct access to leadership.
• Chance to influence and shape a growing practice from its inception.
