Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Comprehend processes, metrics, and challenges within the business area, pinpointing where an agent can provide significant value.

• Facilitate discovery sessions with business teams to define the problem, identify target users, outline expected outcomes, and establish success criteria.

• Assist business teams in designing their agents, covering decisions, data, consulted systems, and human involvement.

• Collaborate with business teams to construct initial end-to-end use cases on the platform, including integrations and tools like MCP servers.

• Empower business teams to develop and adapt their own agents through hands-on workshops, clear content, and ongoing assistance.

• Convert field requirements into product inputs, highlighting gaps, patterns, and opportunities for platform enhancement to the Product Manager.

• Oversee agents in production for metrics such as adoption, process impact, response accuracy, and cost efficiency.

• Partner with AI Engineers and developers on more intricate technical implementations.

• Initially manage a specific end-to-end use case; thereafter, act as a trusted advisor for business teams, sharing insights and supporting platform evolution.

• Ability to quickly grasp how a business functions and communicate effectively with managers from non-technical teams.

• Product-oriented mindset, impact-driven prioritization, and capability to discern when an agent may not be the appropriate solution.

• Excellent communication skills to explain, persuade, and educate without using technical jargon.

• Prior experience in delivering AI-focused training and promoting awareness.

• Capability to work independently across teams, ask pertinent questions, and manage ambiguity.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing AI in business settings and applying LLM-based solutions in real-world scenarios.

• Experience in designing and developing agents with platforms or frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, or similar tools.

• Proficient in prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, and response evaluation.

• Experience in developing or utilizing MCP servers (Model Context Protocol).

• Over 5 years of experience in software development, with production-level code.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/Node.js.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and system integrations.

• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Flutter and/or Ruby is a plus.
