Senior Forensic Engineer – Mechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects and act as the main point of contact.

• Organize site visits, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure projects remain on schedule.

• Conduct site inspections and testing to collect data across various property types.

• Execute site visits and laboratory evaluations to gather information on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

• Generate reports that integrate inspection, testing, and analytical data to determine root causes and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.

• Contribute to regional expansion through recruitment and business development efforts.

• Foster and sustain robust client relationships while generating new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with business development teams during conferences and client outreach initiatives.

• Analyze and interpret applicable building codes regarding issues relevant to the scope of work.

• Supervise the formulation of repair or replacement design scopes, as necessary.

• Make autonomous decisions regarding analysis and testing methodologies, as well as resource allocation for projects.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Current PE license.

• Over 10 years of experience in forensic mechanical engineering or related design work.

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical reports based on inspection findings.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
