Senior Fire Investigator – IAAI-CFI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive investigations independently to ascertain the origin and cause of fires and explosions.

• Investigate claims that are suspected of insurance fraud, including significant losses, large fire incidents, and multiple claims.

• Anticipate the training requirements of clients based on their exposure and initiatives aimed at preventing fraud.

• Offer expert testimony derived from investigative findings during depositions and trials.

• Establish and nurture relationships with federal, state, and local government entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• IAAI Certified Fire Investigator (IAAI-CFI) certification is a plus.

• Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator (CFEI) certification is a minimum requirement for consideration.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in fire investigation or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
