Senior FinOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead FinOps initiatives, enhancing governance, financial efficiency, and cost transparency for cloud services.

• Oversee the financial operations of AWS, Azure, GCP, and other platforms utilized by the organization.

• Perform consumption analyses to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for optimization.

• Create forecasts, assist in budget planning, and monitor the financial execution of cloud investments.

• Develop key metrics and executive dashboards to track costs, consumption, and operational efficiency.

• Aid in the definition and development of Showback, Chargeback, and Cost Allocation models.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams to integrate financial efficiency into technical decisions from the outset of the development cycle.

• Drive optimization initiatives related to Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and other cost-reduction strategies.

• Streamline financial analysis and management processes using Artificial Intelligence.

• Organize meetings with technical and executive stakeholders.

• Foster a FinOps culture by sharing best practices, offering training, and promoting continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in FinOps.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and technology cost management.

• Understanding of pricing models, billing, and cloud cost optimization strategies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across various teams.

• Consultative, analytical mindset with a strong focus on value-driven outcomes.
