Senior Financial Transformation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist Defense and National Security clients in enhancing financial management through business process transformation, operational efficiency, transparency, performance management, change management, and adherence to federal laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with colleagues and senior stakeholders to innovate and modernize financial processes.

• Lead the deployment of Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, including Power Apps solutions, and present these solutions for iterative feedback from stakeholders.

• Develop performance metrics and interactive dashboards utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, and additional tools.

• Identify and apply enhancements to financial tools and templates.

• Evaluate business processes and procedures, coordinate current-state assessments, review documentation, and suggest future-state solutions.

• Support project planning for comprehensive development efforts and ensure that achievable timelines are communicated and adhered to.

• Update senior-level executive clients on project tasks and confirm mutual understanding.

• Integrate financial management standards into solution design and development, ensuring alignment with federal policy, audit readiness, and operational integrity.

• Create financial automation, data analytics, data visualization, and AI capabilities, including dashboards, low-code applications, user interfaces, and AI models for financial data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; approved adjudication is required prior to onboarding.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in business transformation, financial management, data analytics, audit, or accounting.

• Proficient with low-code and no-code technology platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Tableau.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to create and edit both technical and non-technical written materials and graphical presentations.

• Experience in leading client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

• Familiarity with project management best practices.

• Experience in documenting and assessing business processes with recommendations for improvements.

• A Master's degree in Business Analytics is preferred.

• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) are preferred, along with a solid understanding of these concepts or a desire to obtain these certifications.

• Experience in data analysis using Python, R, SQL, and Databricks.

• Knowledge or proficiency in AWS or Azure.

• Ability to create visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

• Background in change management or organizational design, particularly within financial settings.

• Competence in developing technical skills related to analytics and automation.

• Up to 10% travel required.
