This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• ERP Integration & Data Validation: Assist in ERP integrations during mergers and acquisitions by executing data mapping, validation, and reconciliation between source and target systems. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data throughout the integration process.
• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Examine and compare extensive datasets across various systems to pinpoint discrepancies, inconsistencies, and gaps. Collaborate with accounting, M&A, and IT stakeholders to resolve data issues and uphold system integrity.
• Data Extraction & Analysis: Create and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems. Facilitate repeatable processes for data comparison and validation.
• Excel-Based Analysis & Modeling: Design advanced Excel models and tools to aid reconciliation, validation, and reporting efforts during integrations and ongoing operations.
• Cross-Functional Integration Support: Collaborate with M&A, Accounting, and IT teams to assist in integration planning and execution. Serve as a liaison between functional and technical teams to ensure alignment on data structures and requirements.
• Documentation & Process Standardization: Record data structures, mapping logic, validation processes, and integration workflows. Contribute to the creation of repeatable, scalable processes for future acquisitions.
• Ongoing Data & Systems Support: Act as a versatile resource outside of active M&A initiatives by supporting data quality projects, system enhancements, and ad hoc analysis across ERP and related systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, ERP systems, accounting systems, or similar roles.
• Strong grasp of data integrity principles, particularly within accounting or ERP environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
• Practical knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems and handling large datasets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system migrations, or M&A integrations is preferred.
• Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar) is preferred.
• The typical base salary range for this position is $115,000.00-$150,000.00 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is a salary position paid biweekly.
