Senior Financial Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and manage OneStream applications, employing Extensible Dimensionality to meet intricate consolidation, planning, and reporting requirements.

• Develop, refine, and uphold VB.NET Business Rules for calculations, translations, consolidations, and workflows.

• Implement and enhance Marketplace solutions to modernize the 'Close' procedure.

• Improve consolidation durations and query performance through effective system design and code evaluations.

• Act as the technical lead for financial data extraction from NetSuite. Create reliable data extraction methods to guarantee clean data feeds into OneStream.

• Create and sustain automated data pipelines between NetSuite and OneStream utilizing OneStream Data Management/Stage.

• Investigate complex data problems by debugging a NetSuite SuiteScript or tracing SQL transformation errors within the data warehouse.

• Identify and resolve issues related to data consistency across various systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Financial Systems, accompanied by a background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.

• Extensive practical experience with OneStream XF. Proficiency in VB.NET for crafting Business Rules and Member Formulas is essential.

• Strong SQL capabilities. Ability to write queries for analyzing large datasets, debugging transformations, and ensuring data integrity.

• Functional knowledge of NetSuite data structures (GL, Subsidiaries, Classifications). Ability to read and debug SuiteScript (JavaScript) is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS regulations, intercompany eliminations, and the financial closing process.
