This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with business leaders to drive financial initiatives.
• Develop scalable forecasting and budgeting frameworks.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports.
• Enhance financial visibility as the company expands.
• Aid in the planning and coordination of the annual budget timeline in collaboration with business leaders.
• Create annual budget models grounded in historical financial data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), market trends, economic conditions, and company strategies.
• Generate financial projections and serve as a vital business partner in supporting investment and management decisions.
• Construct and maintain financial models to facilitate revenue forecasting, headcount planning, expense management, cash planning, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare monthly reports and analyze key metrics for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Offer insights into actual performance compared to budget and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and essential business drivers.
• Assist with headcount planning, including hiring forecasts, compensation modeling, workforce reporting, and departmental expense planning.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial tools that promote transparency and accountability across the organization.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end close to ensure precise reporting, accruals, expense classification, and variance explanations.
• Work alongside department leaders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, IT, HR, and Operations to manage budgets, monitor performance, and provide financial guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, ideally in both public accounting and corporate settings.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to maintain a high level of detail while also understanding the broader strategic perspective.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
