This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends in payment processing success, chargeback occurrences, and fraud rates.
• Monitor and forecast payment-related metrics, including acceptance rates and fraud rates, while predicting customer behaviors through data analysis and modeling.
• Comprehend the primary drivers of company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators such as conversion rate, customer lifetime value, chargeback rate, and fraud rate) and assess their relative impacts on business performance using financial and statistical modeling.
• Track payment acceptance rates and performance trends, providing proactive recommendations for adjustments to payment processor allocation strategies in response to shifts.
• Analyze transaction and chargeback data across different card brands, processors, and gateways to observe performance trends, proactively identifying anomalies and suggesting solutions to resolve issues.
• Propose enhancements to operations, anti-fraud processes, and system improvements.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance, statistics, or a highly analytical finance position.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams within the company, including Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing, to achieve results.
• Extensive experience in developing complex financial models and conducting both quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, including scenario analysis.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience in presenting analyses to senior executives and functioning as a business partner across all departments.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
