This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of monthly gross margin analysis for field services, hardware, and performance payouts.
• Clarify discrepancies between forecasted and actual results while pinpointing root causes.
• Develop and sustain driver-based models, encompassing shortfall liability and reserve forecasts.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess risks and aid in investment decisions.
• Collaborate with leaders in Residential and Commercial Operations on cost performance.
• Evaluate technician productivity, vendor expenses, and primary factors influencing service costs.
• Establish and monitor operational metrics that affect gross margin.
• Assist in the development of Board and Quarterly Business Review materials with insightful, data-driven analysis.
• Confirm that operational data from Salesforce and field systems aligns with financial outcomes.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate recording of job costs, recoveries, and reserves.
• Enhance data quality, reporting processes, and financial transparency as the business expands.
• Lead ad hoc analyses related to Revenue or OpEx as required.
• Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, Transaction Services (Big 4 or Banking), or Corporate Finance.
• Proficient in Excel with a track record of building complex, driver-based models.
• Experience in margin analysis, job costing, unit economics, or evaluating project-level profitability.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar).
• Background in using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
