Senior Financial Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop intricate Excel valuation models for prospective acquisitions and divestitures.

• Analyze deals using discounted cash flow assessments and key metrics such as IRR and EBITDA multiples.

• Produce pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures.

• Oversee the due diligence process, which includes conducting site visits, collaborating with sellers, gathering data, and ensuring thorough reviews across all areas of diligence.

• Prepare presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, the board of directors, and others.

• Collaborate closely with Transaction Directors and legal teams during the negotiation and drafting of final agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline from a top undergraduate institution.

• 2-4 years of analytical experience focused on transactions; experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development is preferred.

• Must possess substantial direct transaction experience.

• Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced deal-making environment.

• Self-motivated problem solver with the capability to think and work independently.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with various stakeholders involved in a transaction.
