Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A – Consumer Goods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain demand planning financial models and operational frameworks, including 13-week cash flow projections and balance sheets.

• Supervise and facilitate the formulation and progression of budgets.

• Assess and analyze client KPIs while constructing dashboards.

• Conduct variance and trend analysis for departmental expenditures and strategic initiatives.

• Guarantee data integrity in financial models and ensure alignment and reconciliation between managerial analysis and accounting records.

• Investigate, analyze, and compile data for business plans and proposals related to corporate initiatives.

• Prepare due diligence materials, such as lender credit packages and startup presentation decks.

• Collaborate closely with the internal CFO and Controller to meet client requirements.

• Assist with ad-hoc reporting, projects, and strategic initiatives.

• Manage workflows across 8–10 clients simultaneously while reporting to a Finance Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

• More than 5 years of experience in financial modeling and cash forecasting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting.

• Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.

• Exceptional analytical and communication capabilities.

• Ability to distill significant themes from both quantitative and qualitative data and articulate findings to senior management.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.

• Proactive, solution-focused, and client-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with QBO and Xero.

• Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.

• Background in e-commerce, retail distribution, and CPG sectors.

• Availability during standard business hours in Central Time and/or Eastern Time Zones.
