Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main administrator for Workday Adaptive Insights, handling user management, model maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.

• Collaborate with IT and Finance Operations to enhance integrations with Workday Financials, NetSuite, BigQuery, and other source systems.

• Ensure the integrity of Adaptive Insights data and lead reconciliations among NetSuite, Workday, and Adaptive Insights.

• Oversee monthly and quarterly closing reporting processes, which include P&L commentary and analysis.

• Take ownership of and enhance recurring reporting packages and templates.

• Assist in preparing deliverables and presentations for the board of directors.

• Support the annual budgeting process and long-term planning activities.

• Conduct ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for growth initiatives.

• Serve as the finance contact for G&A leaders regarding budget-versus-actuals analysis, headcount planning, and forecasts for strategic initiatives.

• Facilitate quarterly planning cycles and manage G&A personnel and non-personnel expenses in Adaptive Insights.

• Collaborate with Benefits and Accounting teams to incorporate global assumptions into forecasting models.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a similar field.

• In-depth experience with Workday Adaptive Insights; preferred candidates will have power-user experience.

• Strong grasp of GAAP financial statements and common FP&A processes.

• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.

• Ability to effectively plan, multitask, and meet deadlines in a remote-first environment.

• Previous experience in SaaS companies and familiarity with essential SaaS metrics are preferred.
