Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly closing process, including the recording of necessary journal entries, accruals, and other related tasks.

• Collaborate with business partners to ensure that month-end financial results align with expectations.

• Develop and consolidate monthly reporting files for freight, warehousing, headcount, scrap, savings, and all significant supply chain KPIs.

• Analyze actual monthly performance against budgeted figures and provide commentary on variances.

• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting cycles and conduct analyses (AOP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3).

• Act as the main finance partner for the US Supply Chain Team.

• Provide support to the Global Supply Chain team as necessary to standardize reporting processes.

• Improve existing reporting tools and models to enhance the efficiency of reporting cycles.

• Fulfill FP&A and Global Ops Finance requests.

• Contribute to process and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Knowledge of UK and US GAAP.

• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.

• Highly driven individual with robust analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in creating complex financial models.

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and leadership skills.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.

• University Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting.

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) candidates preferred.

• Degree level qualified, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
