Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the analysis of costs and pricing for complex or high-value acquisition projects.

• Supervise the review of invoices, monitor budget execution, and ensure financial reconciliation across allocated task areas.

• Create and deliver financial status reports and analyses to Government leadership.

• Provide guidance to acquisition and program personnel regarding funding availability, obligations, and financial risks.

• Assist with financial reconciliation during contract closeout and engage in audit response activities.

• Mentor junior and mid-level financial analysts and conduct quality reviews of their outputs.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes for financial tracking and reporting.

• Support the DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services within the contract's acquisition support portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field combined with 7–10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory to fulfill this federal contract.

• Extensive experience with federal budget execution, cost/price analysis, and financial reporting.

• Proven experience in presenting financial analyses to senior Government stakeholders.

• Experience in leading or mentoring analyst-level staff.

• Background in directly supporting the DOI, IBC, or another civilian shared-services finance organization (preferred).

• Experience in financial systems modernization or the development of dashboard/reporting tools (preferred).

• Relevant certifications such as CDFM, CGFM, or CPA (preferred).
