This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with vital finance operations: contribute to long-term planning efforts and the annual revenue model for the organization.
• Guide strategic initiatives and business planning: Evaluate revenue, expense, and operational metrics for insights and signals. Offer recommendations and guidance to leadership based on analysis.
• Enhance forecasting precision: Develop intricate financial models to analyze and predict current business and new business opportunities.
• Clarify business operations: Create dashboards and reports for key stakeholders and leadership. Conduct analyses to be presented to senior leadership.
• Address challenging issues: Delve into the details to optimize business operations and processes. Act as a leader in advancing our business practices. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting and operations. Facilitate communication between Finance and key business partners.
• Deliver value: As a crucial member of this small yet vital team, you will need to act as a business leader from day one. Your contributions will significantly influence the success of our rapidly growing business.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or a related forecasting/planning role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Math, or a related discipline.
• Advanced modeling capabilities with the skill to simplify complex decisions into clear, comprehensive financial models.
• Proficient in navigating and analyzing financial statements from start to finish.
• High proficiency in Excel is required; experience with Tableau and enterprise software systems (such as NetSuite, Adaptive) is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with data retrieval from SQL databases or a willingness to learn.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, including the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with competing timelines in a dynamic setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to effectively convey recommendations and conclusions. Experience in presenting insightful analyses and a persuasive viewpoint directly to senior leadership.
• Proven track record in developing and/or enhancing processes, with a passion for driving change throughout the organization.
• Ability to gather, organize, and analyze complex data at both macro and micro levels with minimal oversight. Actively seeks stakeholder input and considers a wide array of options before making decisions.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail, as well as an aptitude for navigating ambiguous situations.
• Must be a proactive self-starter with excellent follow-through and the capability to work effectively independently with minimal supervision.
