This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage the company’s integrated three-statement model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), ensuring it remains up-to-date, precise, and valuable for decision-making.
• Create and enhance scenario and sensitivity analyses to aid strategic planning, fundraising efforts, and discussions at the board level.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and sustain rolling forecasts in close collaboration with the VP of Finance.
• Monitor actuals against the plan, identify discrepancies, and provide insights that guide corrective measures.
• Develop and uphold financial models that facilitate headcount planning, go-to-market investments, and operational efficiency.
• Assist in the procurement process and oversee the finance approval workflow.
• Manage the company’s essential SaaS metrics and ensure they are consistently tracked and reported.
• Construct dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide leadership with real-time insights into business performance.
• Act as the embedded finance partner for critical department heads across G&A and Product.
• Support functional leaders in building and managing their budgets, assessing ROI on initiatives, and making data-driven investment choices.
• Simplify financial complexities into actionable recommendations for stakeholders outside of finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance within a high-growth environment.
• Outstanding financial modeling capabilities — you can construct a clean, dynamic three-statement model from the ground up without relying on a template.
• Profound understanding of SaaS metrics and their driving factors.
• Strong analytical instincts: you not only report numbers but also articulate their implications and necessary actions.
• Clear and confident communicator capable of presenting financial insights to audiences without financial backgrounds.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or BI tools is advantageous.
• A genuine interest in AI and its application in finance — whether you have experience building AI-assisted tools or are eager to start, we seek someone who views AI as a force multiplier rather than a threat.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline; a CFA or MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
