Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial analysis and strategic advice to the finance and operations teams within the organization.

• Examine and interpret financial data, financial statements, and critical performance indicators.

• Create and sustain financial models to assist in business forecasting and planning activities.

• Offer financial assistance for business decision-making by assessing financial performance and pinpointing areas for enhancement.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to promote operational enhancements and initiatives aimed at cost savings.

• Generate ad-hoc financial analyses and provide support for special projects as required.

• Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to enhance visibility into business performance.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by managing financial data systems and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting position.

• Strong operational accounting experience in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent mathematical and analytical capabilities.

• Outstanding customer service skills with a demonstrated level of courtesy and patience in customer interactions.

• Must possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of data collection, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• High reliability and dependability are essential.

• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with accounting principles under GAAP.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.

• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous.

• Preferred experience with SAP.
