This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting with essential financial planning activities, such as annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and department-specific planning, collaborating directly with business owners to challenge assumptions, agree on targets, and oversee ongoing performance relative to the plan.
• Taking ownership of the detailed operational and financial forecasting model, ensuring it remains a dynamic tool that mirrors current business conditions.
• Creating and presenting monthly financial performance reports for executive leadership, including variance analysis, trend commentary, and future implications.
• Collaborating closely with the accounting team during month-end close to guarantee accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
• Providing clear, precise, and timely answers to ad-hoc financial inquiries, customizing insights for the specific audience.
• Developing a scalable finance infrastructure, encompassing repeatable reporting processes, clean model architecture, and well-documented assumptions.
• Constructing financial models to assess new market opportunities, partnership frameworks, contract economics, and capital allocation decisions.
• Establishing and upholding analytical frameworks to evaluate unit economics and performance across various markets and patient segments, highlighting insights on risks, performance, and investment priorities.
• Contributing to materials for the board, investors, and senior leadership by developing supporting analyses and helping to create a coherent financial narrative.
• Creating scenario analyses and sensitivity models that assist leadership in assessing trade-offs, anticipating risks, and making decisions amidst uncertainty.
• Tracking financial and operational performance against set expectations, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and translating insights into clear recommendations.
• 3–6+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, financial consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a finance role in a high-growth environment (healthcare experience is a significant advantage, particularly in value-based care, managed care, or risk-bearing entities).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
• Capable of mentoring analyst colleagues.
• Comfortable with ambiguity — not every question has a straightforward answer; you can make reasonable assumptions, document them clearly, and proceed.
• Strong problem solver who can convert analytical findings into straightforward conclusions for a non-financial audience.
• Excellent attention to detail — you take pride in producing accurate and well-supported work, understanding that credibility in finance relies on precise numbers.
• Intellectually curious — you don’t just respond to the question posed but seek to comprehend the "why" behind the figures and link financial insights to the broader business context.
