Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage and deliver projects independently

• Introduce new tools and processes

• Oversee operational finance processes, including reporting, analysis, budget preparation, and the management of monthly and annual financial statements

• Create and enhance liquidity forecasts, business cases, and various financial models

• Recognize and implement efficient processes, automations, and financial tools

• Work collaboratively with tax advisors, auditors, tax authorities, investors, banks, and other relevant stakeholders

• Partner with clients on a project basis, mainly remotely, with occasional on-site support as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in finance, preferably within a start-up, SME, or consulting environment

• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets

• Familiarity with PowerPoint or similar tools for data visualization and presentation

• Experience with accounting software such as DATEV and NetSuite

• Understanding of common finance tools for process optimization, including credit card and invoicing solutions

• Basic knowledge of finance processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), banking, and payroll

• Experience with standard financial analyses and reports, such as SuSa, BWA, cash flow, forecasts, and budgets

• Excellent German communication skills, at least C1 level

• Proficient English communication skills, at least B2 level

• Self-motivated and organized approach to work, with a focus on optimization possibilities

• Enthusiasm for project-based work and readiness to assist clients remotely and, depending on the project, on-site to a limited extent
