Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in financial planning and forecasting across the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and the company's cash flows.

• Execute annual, quarterly, monthly, and ad-hoc planning cycles.

• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to drive initiatives based on financial insights.

• Develop forecasting models for both ongoing and ad-hoc analyses.

• Evaluate company performance, key performance indicators, budget variances, and other financial metrics.

• Work alongside Finance, Accounting, business, and support teams to enhance financial and business processes and budget management.

• Create, maintain, and refine the company’s financial models.

• Deliver cross-departmental insights for operations, marketing, sales development, and sales teams.

• Enhance internal reporting processes, departmental budgets, and non-financial key performance indicators.

• Identify, design, and test improved controls, embedding them across functions.

• Lead cross-functional projects from start to finish and influence teams beyond the direct reporting structure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in finance, financial modeling, and interpreting financial statements.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Capacity to build trust with partner teams and executive stakeholders, transforming differing opinions into collaborative decisions.

• Proficiency in data mining, organizing, and deriving insights from raw financial data, customer stories, and partner expertise.

• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and the budgeting process within a high-growth organization.

• Effective communication skills across departments in a remote setting, with a focus on meeting deliverable deadlines.

• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, especially for financial modeling purposes.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating within a small team and across functions.

• Strong capability to manage multiple projects and priorities, transitioning between strategy and execution.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with B2B SaaS or data subscription business models is highly desirable.

• Proven use of AI tools and a curiosity for their application is a valuable asset.

• Comfort with integrating generative AI into everyday workflows is a plus.
