• Oversee comprehensive finance operations across various business entities, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end activities.
• Process supplier invoices and manage the complete AP workflow.
• Prepare and oversee payment batches.
• Reconcile supplier statements with the AP ledger and address any discrepancies.
• Administer corporate credit card programs, which include setting up cardholders, defining spend limits, establishing approval protocols, and ensuring receipt compliance.
• Generate customer invoices and manage the receivables lifecycle.
• Monitor collections and pursue outstanding balances.
• Process payroll for multiple business entities.
• Assist with superannuation, STP reporting, and compliance related to payroll requirements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple business entities.
• Reconcile corporate and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile payroll components such as gross wages, PAYG, superannuation, and net pay.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions across different entities.
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Assist during year-end audits by preparing reconciliations, samples, and necessary supporting documentation.
• Promote continuous enhancement of finance processes and workflows.
• Aid with ad hoc finance and reporting tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Contribute to a high-performing, detail-oriented finance team environment.
• CPA/CA qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Experience in Australian accounting or finance is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accompanied by a high level of accuracy and process discipline.
• Previous experience in a high-volume or multi-entity setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern ERP, payroll, and finance platforms in a multi-entity context is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to cloud-based and automated finance systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, including compliance requirements (STP, superannuation, etc.).
• Comfortable working within structured processes, conducting reconciliations, and managing month-end close activities.
• Highly desirable: experience utilizing AI tools or automation to enhance finance workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with finance leadership in a team-oriented environment.
• Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and executive data.
• Remain proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance systems, reporting, and support processes.
• Contribute to a cooperative and high-performing remote team environment.
