Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior Finance Manager (POE) and the regional leadership team in managing business operations, financial decision-making, risk mitigation, and providing pricing advice in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Aid in the review of rent rolls, check rent flat files, and ensure these are uploaded into E1 by the FSC India team for processing rent payments.

• Contribute to the preparation of the POE funding forecast and funding requests.

• Ensure timely processing of utilities and other POE-related expense invoices for payment.

• Oversee and evaluate POE cash flow and reconcile cash flow/working capital balances.

• Monitor and assess POE month-end activities, ensuring timely submission of bank reconciliations and actual costs to clients.

• Ensure compliance with all financial processes according to contractual obligations at each post site, providing general finance advice and guidance to ensure understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.

• Identify issues and review necessary actions to enhance or rectify processes and policies at each post site.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the annual POE budgeting process is completed accurately and on time, making sure budget holders provide precise forecasts with adequate detail.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (ACA, CIMA, CPA preferred).

• 2-4 years of experience in finance roles, including financial planning and analysis.

• Strong technical accounting skills and expertise in corporate reporting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in financial system applications such as JDE and Corrigo.

• Ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels to foster open, constructive, and collaborative relationships.
