• The Senior Sales Incentive Compensation & Financial Analyst is responsible for the comprehensive management of sales incentive compensation and commission programs.
• This position ensures the accuracy of data, aids in commission calculations and analysis, handles administration tasks, and resolves inquiries while collaborating closely with Sales Operations and Business Development.
• Additional duties include providing professional and/or technical support and guidance.
• Assist in modeling and analyzing commission plans.
• Acquire and validate Salesforce CRM data utilized in commission calculations.
• Aid in the commission calculation process by executing quality controls to guarantee accuracy.
• Help draft, issue, and maintain documentation for commission plans and sales enablement resources.
• Prepare and distribute commission statements to participants.
• Manage, investigate, and resolve commission inquiries; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests, including the creation of summary materials, insights for leadership decision-making, and executive-ready outputs.
• Assist with territory reassignments and updates to targets that affect commission calculations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related area.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Incentive Compensation, Finance Operations, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Must possess the ability to swiftly and independently construct, validate, and maintain intricate commission models and analyses with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with macros and Power BI is preferred.
• 0-2 years of Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Capability to develop professionally formatted summary materials and analytical outputs.
• Experience in supporting multi-region commission or incentive compensation programs is a plus.
• Strong skills in data and financial analysis.
• Ability to recognize and comprehend broad issues while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational skills to manage competing priorities and adhere to tight deadlines.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with sound judgment and the ability to provide recommendations.
• Strong team-oriented approach with excellent follow-up and support for internal stakeholders.
